Tel Potol Recipe | Pointed Gourd Curry | Tel Parwal Recipe | Scroll Recipe
Ingredient:
• Parwal/Potal 6-7
• Oil for Fry
• 2 TBSP mustard oil
• ½ TSP Kalonji
• Grated ginger 1 TSP
• 2 TSP green chilli paste / As per taste
• 1 TSP cumin powder
• Red chilli powder 1 TSP
• salt to taste
• Turmeric Powder 1 TSP
• sugar 1 TSP ( For color )
• Garam Masala ½ TSP
Process:
• Peel and marinate Parwal with Salt and Turmeric powder
• Heat the oil in a Pan
• Add Marinated Parwal
• Fry it till golden brown
• Add 2 TBSP mustard oil
• Heat the oil
• Add ½ TSP Kalonji
• Add grated ginger 1 TSP
• Add 2 TSP green chilli paste / As per taste
• Sauté it for 2 mints
• Add ¼ Cup water
• Add 1 TSP cumin powder
• Add Red chilli powder 1 TSP
• Add salt to taste
• Add ½ TSP Turmeric
• Add sugar 1 TSP (For color)
• Add Fried Parwal
• Mix it nicely
• Add 1 cup of water
• Cover with lid and Simmer on low heat for 8 Mints
• Add Garam Masala ½ TSP
• Add 1 TBSP ghee
• Serve with Plain rice
