Kumro Saag Recipe | Pumpkin Saag Recipe | Scroll Recipe
Ingredient:
• Pumpkin saag/Kumro saag 500 gm
• 5 TBSP oil
• 7-8 bori
• 2 TSP panch phoron
• 1 ½ cup diced potato
• 1 ½ dice pumpkin
• 1 TSP turmeric
• salt
• 1 ½ diced brinjal
• 2 TSP sugar
• chillies
• sprinkle of atta (optional)
• 2 TBSP mustard and poppy seeds paste and mix it nicely
Recipe:
• Add oil in a pan and heat the oil
• Add some bori
• Fry it
• Keep it aside
• Add 2 TSP panch phoron
• Add diced potato
• Add diced pumpkin
• Fry it for a few mints
• Add 1 TSP turmeric
• Add salt to taste
• Cover with a lid for 5-7 mins
• Add diced brinjal
• Cover with a lid for 5-7 mins
• Add pumpkin steam and mix it
• Cover with a lid for 10 mints
• Add chopped pumpkin leaf and mix it nicely
• Cover with a lid until its 80% cooked
• Add fried bori
• Add 1 ½ cup of water
• Add 2 TSP sugar
• Add salt to taste
• Add chopped chillies
• Cover with lids for another 10 mins
• Sprinkle some atta (flour)
• Add 2 TBSP mustard and poppy seeds paste and mix it nicely
• Serve hot with rice
