Chicken Masala Recipe | How to make Masala Chicken | Scroll Recipe



Ingredients:

• 500 gm Chicken
• 2 TBSP curd
• 2bay leaf, 1 black cinnamon, 1 Kashmiri red chilli,2 cinnamon,1 mace, 6-7 cardamom
• 1 TSP Sugar
• Salt to taste
• ½ cup onion paste
• 1 TSP red chilli powder
• ½ TSP turmeric powder
• 1 TSP coriander powder
• 1 TSP black pepper
• 1 TBSP ghee

Process

Step 1:
• Marinate chicken with salt , 2 TBSP curd ,salt and turmeric for 60 mints.
Step 2:

Masala mix:
• 1 bay leaf, 1 black cinnamon, 1 Kashmiri red chilli,1 cinnamon,1 mace, 3-4 cardamom and grind it nicely.
Step 3:
• Add 4 TBSP mustard oil in a pan
• Add 1 bay leaf,1 inch cinnamon,2 cardamom,2 cloves and fry it
• Add 1 cup chopped onion
• Fry it
• Add 1 TSP Sugar
• Add Salt to taste
• Add ½ cup onion paste
• Sauté it for few minutes
• Add 1 TSP red chilli powder
• Add ½ TSP turmeric powder
• Add 1 TSP coriander powder
• Fry it for 5-7 mints
• Add 1 TSP black pepper
• Add marinated chicken and mix it nicely
• Keep stirring for 20 mints
• Add masala mix
• Mix it nicely and keep stirring it for 10 mints
• Add 1 cup hot water
• Close with lid and wait for 10 mints
• Add ½ Cup of tea liquor and cover with a lid for another 5-7 mints
• Open the lid
• Add 1 TBSP ghee
