Boal Fish Curry Recipe | Bengali Boal Fish Curry Recipe | Scroll Recipe
Ingredients:
• Boal Fish/ Tapah fish – 500 gm
• ½ Turmeric
• Salt to taste
• Oil
• 1 TSP kalonji
• 2-3 Dry red chilli
• 1 cup sliced onion
• 1 TBSP ginger garlic paste
• 1 TBSP cumin powder
• 1 ½ TBSP red chilli powder
• 1 TSP coriander powder
• 2-3 Green chilli
Process:
Step 1:
• Marinate fish with Turmeric and salt for 10 mints
• Heat the pan and add oil
• Heat the oil
• Add fish and Fry it till golden brown
• Remove excess oil if any
Step 2:
• In same kadai add oil
• Add 1 TSP kalonji
• Add dry red chilli
• Fry it
• Add 1 cup sliced onion
• Add 1 TBSP ginger garlic paste
• Add salt to taste
• Fry it
• Add 1 TBSP cumin powder
• Add 1 ½ TBSP red chilli powder
• Add 1 TSP coriander powder
• Add 1 cup hot water
• Keep stirring
• Add green chilli
• Add 2 cups of water
• Cover with a lid till it comes to a boil
• Add fried fish
• Cook for another 5-7 mints
