Karela Onion Recipe (Bitter gourd) || Scroll Recipe ||
Ingredient:
250 grams tender karela /Bitter gourd
Black cumin seeds ½ TSP
Turmeric powder 1 ½ TSP
Red chili powder ½ teaspoon
Amchur powder (dry mango powder) ½ or 1 teaspoon
Sliced onion (1 cup)
chopped Garlic 1 TSP
Oil
Process:
Heat oil in a frying pan or kadai.
Add the karela slices
Add Salt to taste
Add Turmeric powder 1 TSP
Sauté on a low or medium flame.
Keep Stirring
Add 2 TBSP oil in a separate pan
Black cumin seeds ½ TSP
Add Sliced onion (1 cup)
Add Turmeric powder ½ TSP
Add Chopped Garlic 1 TSP
Add Red Chilli 2 TSP
½ cup water
Cover with the lid for 2 Mints
Add Fried karela /bitter gourd
Add Salt
Add Amchur powder 1 TSP
