Potol Dorma Recipe | Potoler Dorma recipe | How to make potoler dolma | Scroll Recipe
Ingredients:
Potol 500 gm
Mustard oil
2 TSP cumin seeds
Grated paneer
salt to taste
2 TSP roasted cumin seeds powder
2 TBSP aata
2 bay leaves, cloves, caradamom and saute it for few second
Green chillies
1/2 cup whisked curd
salt to taste and boil it
1 TSP ginger paste
1 TBSP ghee
1 TSP cumin powder, 1 TSP coriander powder, 1 TSP turmeric, 2 TSP red chilli powder
Process:
Step 1:
Scrape off the gritty outer layer of the potol. Cut off the end. Keep these ends safe, as will be using them later.
Marinate with patal with salt and turmeric and keep it aside
In a small bowl, combine cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric, red chilli powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder with warm water to make spice slurry.
Step 2:
Heat mustard oil in a kadai.
Add marinated potol and saute it for few minutes and keep it aside
Step 3:
same oil add 1 TSP cumin seeds
Add grated paneer and mix it nicely
Add salt to taste
Add roasted cumin seeds powder
Add 1 TBSP aata/whole wheat flour
mix it nicely and keep it aside
Step 4:
Stuff the potol
Step 5:
In same oil add 2 bay leaves, cloves, caradamom and saute it for few second
Add masala mix and fry for few mints
Add chopped green chillies
Add 1/2 cup whisked curd
Add salt to taste and boil it
Add hot water and boil it
Add 1 TBSP paneer mix
Add 1 TBSP atta and mix it nicely and cover it for few minutes
Once it comes to a boil, add the stuffed potol and potatoes. Bubble on low heat until potol cooked.
Add 1 TSP ginger paste
Add 1 TBSP ghee
