Tehri Recipe | Vegetable Rice Recipe | How to make Tehri at home | Scroll Recipe
Ingredient:
• 2 cups soak rice
• 2 TBSP oil in a cooker and heat the oil
• 2 dry red chilli
• Add curry leaves
• 1 TSP chopped garlic
• 1 TBSP cumin seeds
• 1 chopped tomato
• 1 ½ TSP turmeric powder
• 1 TBSP onion, ginger, garlic paste
• 2 diced potato
• 1/2 cup Diced capsicum
• ½ chopped spring onion
• 2 cup diced cauliflower
• 1 TSP sugar
• 2 TSP cumin powder
• 1 TSP coriander powder
• 1 TBSP butter
• 2 ½ cup water
Process:
• Add 2 TBSP oil in a cooker and heat the oil
• Add 2 dry red chilli
• Add curry leaves
• Add 1 TSP chopped garlic
• Add 1 TBSP cumin seeds
• Fry it
• Add 1 chopped tomato
• Add 1 ½ TSP turmeric powder
• Add 1 TBSP onion, ginger, garlic paste
• Add 2 diced potato
• Add diced capsicum
• Add chopped spring onion
• Add 2 cup diced cauliflower
• Sauté it for few mints
• Add 1 TSP sugar
• Add 2 TSP cumin powder
• Add 1 TSP coriander powder
• 2 cups basmati rice in water very well till the water runs clear of starch. Then soak the rice in enough water for 30 minutes.
• Add 2 cups soak rice
• Add 1 TBSP butter
• Add 2 ½ cup water
• Stir and mix very well
• Pressure cook with high flame 2-3 whistle (depending on your rice)
• Serve hot with Dahi/Raita
